Delighted to announce I have discovered a joyful life drawing class in my new territory. First real class since completing my foundation. Bloomin marvelous find. You will see more while I try to remember how to draw... Carefully avoided intricate hands and made the model into a mountain. Artistic license.

Bouquet..

A quick little play with pen and ink to stop someone missing their old spring garden...
Has certainly inspired thoughts for Mothers day and more flower based designs. Had almost removed the memory of delighting in spelling out peoples names in flowers. Perhaps start steady with seasonal bouquets... a few loved ones names... Hello bouquet project. Clearly still trying to be a flower lady like my child self.

Gentle Return and Hello

Introducing Fat Robin. He is the first of a series of new works and new projects I will be bringing slowly back to life.

In a rather bizarre turn of events I am not in Australia as intended. I am now working a full time creative design/events job in Stamford (Lincolnshire) with a generally fulfilled urge to be in Leeds in each snippet of affordable time.

So in my tentative new life I am picking up and dusting off the dream of Balderston...

This does include a vast amount of drawing, projects and product experimentation.

I hope to delight your eyes and have much to offer you in a feast of delightful oddments in the near future.

How apt. Though I have no further excuses as the general definition of this word identifies. I am not a wealthy socialite whiling away my days. Nor suffering from illness. Or even enjoying freedom.
